The Confidence Standard · Solutions · Optimization Pillar

The physical layer,

built to last.

Structured cabling, AV & IT hardware, closet buildouts, enterprise automation.

Every network, every security camera, every access-controlled door and every rack in your building
depends on physical infrastructure someone had to design, run and terminate correctly. This is that work:
four named, one-time deployment engagements, delivered by certified technicians and handed off with
real documentation. A project you commission, that becomes the foundation everything else runs on.

Where this sits

Part of the IT Infrastructure portfolio, Optimization Pillar

These solutions serve the CIO KPI: Efficiency.

Pillar 01

VISIBILITY

A Network Assessment often surfaces the cabling or closet issue this fixes.

Pillar 02

OPTIMIZATION

Physical deployment work is optimization at the infrastructure layer.

Pillar 03

CONTINUITY

Once installed, Managed Networking keeps it monitored and maintained.

Why this is a Solution, not a Professional Service.

Professional Services on this site are expert-led engagements against your existing environment, an assessment, an implementation, a plan. This is physical build-and-deploy work: cabling run, hardware installed, a closet constructed. It is scoped, priced and delivered as a project, then handed to Managed Networking to operate, the same three-layer model (Solutions, Professional Services, Managed Services) used across the rest of the portfolio.

the four disciplines

Each one is a separately scoped engagement.

Bundled under one page for navigation, never bundled in scoping or pricing, you can commission one, or al four as a coordinated buildout.

01 - Structured Cabling

Fast, reliable network cabling built for where your traffic is headed. The physical layer everything else depends on. Poorly run or undocumented cabling is one of the most common root causes a Network Assessment uncovers.

    • Data cabling, fiber optics, and cable management, designed for your actual traffic and growth plans
    • Organized, labeled pathways that cut troubleshooting time on every future ticket
    • Built for scale, so adding a rack or a floor doesn't mean re-running the plant
WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH :

A documented, organized cabling plant that supports current load and near-term growth without a re-pull.

02 - IT & A/V Hardware Deployment

Displays, cameras, access control, network gateways, switches, access points and the software that ties them together, deployed as one coordinated system, not separately sourced hardware bolted together.

  • Custom-specified hardware matched to the space and use case, not a generic parts list
  • AV, access control and network layers integrated as one build, not stitched together after
  • Professional deployment and support built in, with a person to call after handoff
WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH :

Working, integrated hardware, configured, tested, and documented for your team to operate.

03 - IT Closet & Data Center Buildouts

Organized, secure, reliable physical spaces for the equipment everything else depends on. A poorly built closet is where preventable outages start.

  • Rack layout, power and cooling planned for the equipment actually going in
  • Cable pathway design that keeps the space serviceable for years of future work
  • Physical security considerations built in from the start
WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH :

A closet or data center space built for reliability and easy maintenance, well past the code minimum.

04 - Enterprise Automation

Integrated software and hardware systems working together for operational control, the layer that turns separate devices into one coordinated environment with a better user experience.

    • Diverse technologies designed to interoperate rather than run as isolated silos
    • Centralized control reducing the operational burden of managing many separate systems
    • Designed for the specific institution and use case, not a generic automation template
WHAT YOU WALK AWAY WITH :

A working automation layer connecting the systems above, with centralized control your team can actually use.

what it covers

What a coordinated build actually brings.

Built as one system

Cabling, hardware, closets and automation designed together from the start, not sourced from four disconnected vendors.

Tech-agnostic sourcing

The right fit for your industry and size, not a fixed vendor list applied regardless of context.

Built for what's next

Environments built to support current load and the technologies you haven't deployed yet.

Security-first construction

Deep cybersecurity expertise means every physical build considers access control and network segmentation from day one.

technology partners

Vendors and platforms behind this solution portfolio.

A curated roster across networking, AV, access control and physical security hardware, the discovery call narrows this to what your specific build actually needs.
honest qualification

When this is the right move, and when it's not.

Start here if...

  • You are running new cabling, building out a closet, or deploying AV/access-control hardware for a space.
  • A Network Assessment identified physical infrastructure, cabling, closet layout, as a root cause.
  • You are opening a new site or renovating one and need the physical layer built correctly the first time.
  • You want one team coordinating cabling, hardware and automation instead of three separate vendors.

Something else first if...

  • You want ongoing monitoring and maintenance, not a build. Managed Networking is the service that runs what gets installed here.
  • You are not sure what is actually wrong with your current setup. Start with a Network Assessment to find out first.
  • You need software or workflow automation, not physical systems integration. Enterprise Automation here means integrated hardware/software control, not RPA or business-process automation.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers before you talk to anyone.

Why was this renamed from "Integrated Systems"?

Almost nobody searches "integrated systems solutions" when they need cabling run or a closet built, that phrase is systems-integrator industry shorthand, not buyer language. The four disciplines underneath it, structured cabling, AV/IT hardware, closet buildouts, enterprise automation, are each searchable in their own right, so the page now names all four explicitly instead of hiding them under one vague umbrella term.

Is this a one-time project or an ongoing service?

One-time, scoped and priced as a project. Once cabling is run or hardware is deployed, ongoing monitoring and maintenance is a separate, ongoing engagement, Managed Networking for the network layer, or the relevant Managed Services offering for what was installed.

Can we commission just one of the four disciplines, or does it have to be a full buildout?

Any one alone, or all four coordinated. A single-room AV deployment and a full building cabling plant are both scoped the same way, against the specific space and requirement, not as a fixed bundle.

Do you work with our existing hardware vendors, or only your own list?

Tech-agnostic by design. The vendor roster reflects who DigitalEra has direct relationships and certified expertise with, but existing infrastructure and vendor preferences are accommodated where compatible, say so on the discovery call.
