WEBSITE TERMS OF USE

Effective date: November 2, 2026

1. About these terms

These terms of use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites operated by DigitalEra Group, LLC ("DigitalEra Group," "we," "us"). They cover:

  • digitaleragroup.com
  • digitallogistix.com
  • our event sites and registration pages, such as securedallas.com and securemiami.com

Together we call these the "Sites." The Terms also cover every subdomain of those domains, any new domain registered under DigitalEra Group's set of internet properties from the day it goes live, the forms, payment, and other pages we publish on our customer relationship management platform's own domains, and the forms, chat, assessments, reports, and other tools on the Sites.

By using the Sites, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Sites. If you use the Sites on behalf of a company, you confirm you can accept these Terms for it. Where we present these Terms for your acceptance, for example when you create an account, register, or check out, clicking "I agree" or checking the acceptance box confirms your agreement to them.

2. These Terms are not our service agreements

These Terms apply to using our websites. They don't cover the services we provide to clients.

Our managed security, professional services, and other client work is governed by the agreement you or your organization signed with us, such as a master services agreement, a statement of work, or our services Terms and Conditions published at digitaleragroup.com/terms-and-conditions. Digital Logistix and DILO Hub orders, quotes, renewals, and partner programs are governed by the agreements that apply to them. Event tickets and sponsorships may have their own terms.

If these Terms conflict with one of those agreements, the agreement controls for the services it covers.

Using the Sites, submitting a form, taking an assessment, booking a meeting, or chatting with us doesn't create a client relationship or an agreement for services.

3. Who may use the Sites, and accounts

The Sites are for business visitors who are at least 18.

If you use DILO Hub or another part of the Sites that needs an account, keep your credentials confidential and let only authorized users in your organization use your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized use. You're responsible for activity under your account. Orders, quotes, renewals, and pricing in DILO Hub are governed by the agreement that applies to your relationship with us.

4. Using the Sites responsibly

You agree not to:

  • break any law or the rights of others
  • scan, probe, load-test, penetration-test, or try to exploit the Sites or our systems without our written permission
  • get around access controls, including gates on reports and forms
  • use bots or scripts to submit forms, send chat messages, or create false registrations
  • send malicious code, spam, or harmful links
  • pretend to be another person or organization
  • collect other people's personal information from the Sites
  • copy content in bulk, reverse engineer interactive tools, or build a dataset or train a model from the Sites without our permission

Search engines and answer engines that follow our published crawler rules (robots.txt) may index our public content and cite it.

5. Reporting a security issue

If you find a security issue on the Sites, please tell us at privacy@digitaleragroup.com. Please don't access other people's data, disrupt the Sites, or share the issue publicly before we've had a reasonable chance to respond.

6. Our content and intellectual property

We and our licensors own the Sites and their content, including text, graphics, reports, assessments, scoring models, interactive tools, and software. Our company, brand, program, and event names and logos are our marks. Other names and logos belong to their owners. Showing a partner's logo doesn't mean the partner endorses you or us beyond what we state.

You may view the Sites and download or print a copy of public content for your own internal business use. You may not sell, republish, or distribute our content without written permission. Reports and gated materials are for the internal use of the person or organization that requested them.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.

7. Information, not advice

Our blog posts, guides, threat insights, and solution pages are general information. They aren't legal, regulatory, compliance, financial, or security advice, and they don't consider your environment. Security conditions change quickly, so content may be out of date. We don't promise any security outcome from using what you read.

8. Self-assessments and reports

Our online self-assessments, and the reports and sample reports linked to them, are designed to start a conversation.

  • What results mean. Results come from the answers you give and our scoring model. They are indicative only. They are not an audit, a penetration test, a certification, an attestation, or a legal or compliance determination, even when they refer to a framework or standard.
  • Your answers. You're responsible for their accuracy. Answer only with information you're allowed to share. Don't include passwords, keys, vulnerability details, or confidential information about other organizations.
  • Changes. We may change questions, scoring, and reports at any time.
  • Sample reports. Sample reports use example data. They don't describe any real organization.
  • Follow-up. After you complete an assessment, we may contact you as described in our Privacy Policy. You can opt out at any time.
  • Formal work. A formal assessment requires a signed agreement with us.

9. Chat, AI assistants, and automated messages

Our chat may be answered by our team or by an AI assistant. An AI assistant tells you it is an AI assistant. It answers questions about our services, programs, and events using content we have approved. It may make mistakes, so check anything important with a person.

An AI assistant doesn't give pricing or any other monetary figures. Those questions always go to a member of our team. Chat and automated messages don't create binding commitments. Quotes, pricing, response times, and service terms bind us only when an authorized person confirms them in writing or in a signed agreement.

We may use automated tools to route and answer form submissions and emails, with review by our team. You can ask to speak with a person at any time.

Don't share passwords, keys, or sensitive data in chat. Chat isn't an emergency channel. See Section 10. We handle chat information as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Urgent requests and incident reports

If you're facing an active security incident, you can use the "Experienced a Breach?" and "Report an Attack" options on our Sites. Our team reviews these submissions.

Submitting an incident form asks for help. It doesn't create an engagement with us, and it doesn't guarantee a response time or any service until we have an agreement in place. If you have an emergency, also contact your own incident response team and, where appropriate, law enforcement.

Share only what's needed to get help started.

11. Forms, registrations, and events

Give us accurate information when you submit a form or register. If you buy a ticket or sponsorship, Stripe processes your payment through our customer relationship management platform's payments feature, and Stripe's terms also apply to the payment. Event terms apply to attending or sponsoring an event.

If you submit a speaker, panelist, or sponsor application, you give us permission to use the name, company, biography, photo, and logo you provide on the form to promote the event and our programs. We may decline or remove any submission.

12. Comments and other submissions

Where the Sites let you post a comment, you keep ownership of it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and use it on the Sites and in connection with our content.

Comments are public. Don't post anything unlawful, defamatory, or confidential, or anyone else's personal information, spam, or harmful links. We may review, remove, or decline any comment. We don't endorse comments, and the views in them belong to the people who post them.

13. Links and third-party services

The Sites link to partner and third-party websites and use third-party tools, such as forms, scheduling, payments, and analytics. Those sites and tools have their own terms and privacy practices. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them.

14. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information on the Sites, including cookies, analytics, chat, AI assistants, and your privacy choices. Our cookie banner appears on every Site and asks for your permission before analytics and chat cookies are set. The Privacy Policy forms part of these Terms.

15. Availability and changes to the Sites

We try to keep the Sites available, but we don't promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may change, limit, or suspend any part of the Sites, including gated materials and tools, at any time.

16. Disclaimers

THE SITES AND THEIR CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE SITES WILL BE FREE OF ERRORS OR HARMFUL CODE.

17. Limitation of liability

TO THE EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ABOUT THE SITES IS LIMITED TO US$100. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS LIABILITY THAT THE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW US TO LIMIT. THIS SECTION DOESN'T CHANGE THE LIMITS IN ANY SERVICE AGREEMENT WE HAVE WITH YOU.

18. Your responsibility

You're responsible for your use of the Sites and your submissions. You agree to cover losses and costs we incur from third-party claims that come from your misuse of the Sites, your submissions, or your breach of these Terms, to include reasonable attorneys' fees/costs and a right to control the defense and approve settlements.

19. Suspension and ending access

We may suspend or end your access to the Sites at any time, including if we believe you have broken these Terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as Sections 6, 12, and 16 through 21, continue after access ends.

20. Export controls and sanctions

You agree to follow export control and sanctions laws that apply to your use of the Sites and any materials you receive from us.

21. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any proceeding, you agree to send us a written description of your claim by mail to the address in Section 26 or by email to privacy@digitaleragroup.com, and to work with us to resolve it informally for 30 days. If we do not resolve it in that time, you and we agree to settle any dispute about the Sites or these Terms by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, seated in Miami-Dade County, Florida, consistent with the arbitration provisions in our master services agreement and services Terms and Conditions. The arbitrator decides all issues, except that (a) either party may bring an individual claim in a small-claims court with jurisdiction, and (b) either party may ask the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida to grant interim or injunctive relief or to enter judgment on an arbitration award, and you and we consent to the jurisdiction of those courts for those purposes. Any claim must be brought individually, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative proceeding. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, any claim about the Sites must be brought within one year after it arises. For any matter heard in court under this Section, YOU AND WE WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.

22. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on the Sites, such as a comment, infringes your copyright, send a notice to privacy@digitaleragroup.com.

23. Language and accessibility

If we offer these Terms in more than one language, the English version controls if they differ. We want the Sites to be usable by everyone. If you have trouble using any part of them, contact us at privacy@digitaleragroup.com.

24. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is material, we will post notice on the Sites and, where practical, give you a reasonable opportunity to review it before it takes effect. Your continued use of the Sites after a change takes effect, or your acceptance when we present the updated Terms, means you accept them.

25. General

If a part of these Terms can't be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a right, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement about using the Sites, and they don't replace any service agreement.
